Coaches CornerSeptember 7, 2015 Dear Coach, Where has fall gone? Before we know it the basketball season will again be upon is! As you may know, Siena Heights University runs a 5th/6th grade (Boys & Girls) and 7th/8th grade (Boys only) Hoopsters Basketball League. For the 2016 season, the 5th/6th grade leagues will begin on Sunday, January 3rd and run until Sunday, February 7th. The 7th /8th grade leagues will begin play on Sunday, February 14th and run until March 22nd. The 3rd/4th grade (Boys and Girls) division which will run in the same time frame as the 7th/8th grade division. The cost of the league is $475.00 per team or $825.00 if your team wishes to play two games per date. The cost includes league entry fees, officials, contest help and a team t-shirt. All games will be played under Michigan Athletic Association Middle School rules, with the following exception: no full court pressing until the fourth quarter (3rd/4th and 5th/6th grade league only).
